Implications for Professional Development-The action plan if implemented will help to support the teacher towards improved classroom instruction through reflection. It will also help to strengthen the role of a teacher educator. Implications for family involvement-If at the end of the pilot project there are indications that reflective practice and support from teacher educators in reflective practice contribute towards better classroom instruction then the project may be extended from just one school to block level; several teacher educators can work together in the process. Prospective Teachers can also be trained in the use of reflective practice as a means of continued professional development.
