Literary Apprentice/Associate Dramaturg 2013 2014 Serve as a source for dramaturgical and historical information to actors and directors during rehearsal process. Research and compile dramaturgy packets for main stage productions. Compose background, dramaturgical, and interest articles for season playbills. Read and evaluate all incoming script submission for production consideration. Plan, execute, and film local auditions. Edit and upload videos for viewing by production teams. Co-ordinate with other departments to plan and execute promotional and educational events. Assist Literary manager with daily management and season planning. ANIMAL FIRE THEATRE -Olympia, WA

Founder/Artistic Director, 2009 to 2012 Formed Animal Fire Theatre, a company dedicated to producing Shakespeare in the Pacific North West. Created adaptations of Shakespeares works under a variety of constraints including runtime, indoor/outdoor settings, touring productions, found spaces, minimal casts, and young audience emphasis. Partnered with college theatre groups to create verse language based workshops, bring in touring productions, and guide students in creating their own productions. Worked with local high schools to integrate aspects of performance into their English Lit. classes studies of Shakespeare. BARBED WIRE WHIPPING PRODUCTIONS -Olympia, Wa

Worked with a team of artists and designers from Seattle, N.Y., and Washington D.C. to create a performance art experience based on The Grateful Deads sound recording The Barbed Wire Whipping Party. BWWP was performed inside a specially made art instillation based on the same piece, featuring 30 ft tall steel sculptures and platforms, during the 2012 Olympia Arts Walk Festival. Created a 3-week movement intensive for performers in order to prepare them for the challenges of the piece.
