Group Ballad and Presentation

You have been assigned to a group in which you will write a ballad
and present it at the end of class. The requirements are as stated
below:

• Ballads must contain five stanzas in length (20 lines)

• Ballads must contain a theme of love or tragedy and tell a story
• Ballads must contain an abcb rhyme scheme for each stanza.
• Ballads will have a refrain that repeats through each stanza of
the ballad.
• Ballad must have dialogue (dialogue should appear in quotation
marks).
• Ballad must be written neatly and grammatically correct to turn
in as the final copy.
• Ballad must have some type of illustration.
