Thesis Statement: Throughout the early years, men had dominated women in almost every task or assignment that

is needed to be done, especially in the literature section. Male writers had overruled female writers for many years, and in this paper, I am aiming to show you how a female writer, named Jane Austen, spoke out about female inferiority through writing it into novels and essays and making a change in her society.

Introduction: In the early nineteenth century, we can already tell that the English literature has become rich and nourished, and as years go by many changes happen like the Industrial Revolution and the Age of Enlightenment, and these changes strongly affected the visual arts, music, and literature of the English people. And a movement had risen during the year of changes and is called the Romantic Age. During that said age, the numbers of writers has peaked into one of its highest numbers, and that number is dominated by male writers. Only a few number of female writers has become successful, like Charlotte Bront, Mary Wollstonecraft, and Jane Austen,
