JOINT STATUS REPORT OF PLAINTIFF AND DEFENDANT BOARD OF

GOVERNORS OF THE FEDERAL RESERVE SYSTEM

Plaintiff Vern McKinley and Defendant Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve

System (“Federal Reserve), by counsel, respectfully submit this Joint Status Report:

1. At the Court’s request, Plaintiff and Defendant Federal Reserve conferred on this

matter to discuss the various issues raised by this Freedom of Information Act (“FOIA”) lawsuit,

how these issues are likely to be resolved, and agree as follows:

2. The parties agree that Defendant Federal Reserve shall have until September 30,

2009 to respond in full to Plaintiff's FOIA request. By that time, the Federal Reserve will

produce any and all responsive records not subject to a claim of exemption.

3. The parties agree that Defendant Federal Reserve shall produce a draft Vaughn

Index of withheld records by November 15, 2009, and that the parties shall submit a further

status report by December 1, 2009.
