Description of Activity/Task/Experience that demonstrates I am at or above standard in the specific skills for the standard mentioned above: In our SINQ class, one assignment we were given was to make an info-graphic with a group of four members; the info-graphic we planned to make was to compare different creation myths from different religions. We were each assigned two different religions in which we had to research their creation myth, the two religions I was assigned were Buddhism and Sikhism. I was responsible and reliable to my teammates because I took time at home and at school to research the creation myths for the religions. On presentation day each of us had to present their religions, which I did. I presented the creation myths to the class and explained what they meant. For my personal management skills Im working on my winter research paper for SINQ. The teacher gave us a sheet which showed us when each assignment was due to lead up for our final paper, I take time in school and at home to make sure I do research that benefits my paper and to make sure I turn in assignments when they are due. I also plan ahead and try to strategize how much of the paper Im going to write in time to turn it in and what parts of my research to include. I decided myself what topic is going to be my research paper and I try to work on it as much as I can so I dont fall behind the deadlines.

Explanation/Reflection of how the activity/task/experience described above meets or exceeds the specific skills of the standard mentioned above: The group info-graphic demonstrates my team skills because I was a reliable team member since I did my research like I was supposed to and brought information each day to incorporate into the info-graphic. I stepped up and did was I was assigned and was one of the first two to present. I spoke loudly and clearly so the class could understand what I was saying. I would input some of my ideas and accept others ideas as well so we could have as good of an info-graphic as we could. We all worked hard and worked well together because our final grade for the project was an A- which isnt bad compared to the other groups info-graphic who scored Cs.

Essential Skills Evidence Form My research paper demonstrates my personal management because I described how I plan out what Im going to research, when Im going to do my research, and how Im going to incorporate it into my research paper. Weve been working on this assignment since mid-November and it is due in two weeks. So far I have been keeping up with the work and making sure Ive been turning in what is needed on the day it is due. However, our first rough draft is due in two days and I havent finished my research yet so I cant start working on my rough draft; this is bad personal management because I had a week to do research and start my rough draft but I didnt use my time because I was spending time with my family over vacation. Now Im hurrying and trying to finish up my research in one day to cram in my rough draft to make sure it is turned in on time. This has taught me that even when it is vacation and Im with my family, I need to make sure I get my homework done so Im not rushed like this.
