Patricia Anne Stratigias (Trish Stratus) born December 18, 1975 is a Canadian retired professional wrestler, former fitness

model, and a fitness guru, actress and television personality, better known by her ring name Trish Stratus. She is best known for her tenure with WWE. Stratus held the WWE Womens title a total of 7 times through her 6 year wrestling career and is a 1 time Hardcore Champion.

Early Life and fitness modeling


Stratigias grew up in Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada where she attended Bayview Secondary School. She enrolled at York University, where she studied biology and kinesiology and played soccer and field hockey. Due to a faculty strike in 1997, she was forced to change her plans. She was working as a receptionist at a local gym when she was approached by the publisher of MuscleMag International to do a test shoot for the magazine. She later appeared on the cover of the May 1998 issue and was signed to a two-year contract. For the next six months, she worked on her body and appeared on numerous magazine covers. During this time, she joined Big Daddy Donnie & Jeff Marek as the third host of Live Audio Wrestling on Toronto Sports Radio, The FAN 590. Stratigias had been a fan of wrestling since childhood and her modeling work caught the attention of the World Wrestling Federation (WWF). In November 1999, she was signed to a multi-year contract with the company, who sent her to Sully's Gym where she was trained by Ron Hutchinson.

World Wrestling Federation/ Entertainment 2000-2006


Trish Stratus made her WWF/E debut March 19, 2000 she started of as a manager/ valet. She managed the late Test and former WWE superstar Prince Albert. Trish made her in ring debut June 22 on Smackdown where she won her first match a tag team match against The Hardy boys and Lita. Now a part time wrestler in 2001 she won her first WWF Womens Championship match at WWE Survivor Series Pay-Per-View. She held the Womens title for 78 days before losing it to fellow WWE Diva Jazz. Trish Stratus 2nd reign as Womens Champion was May 13, 2002 where she competed in an intergender tag team match where she defeated former Womens Champion Jazz and her tag partner Stevie Richards she the Womens title for 41 days until losing it to fellow WWE Diva Molly Holly. Her 3rd title reign she won September 22, 2002 at WWE Unforgiven where she defeated Molly Holly she held title for 56 days before loosing it to fellow WWE Diva Victoria. March 30, 2003 at WrestleMania XIX Trish won her 4th title reign in a Triple Threat match defeating Jazz and Victoria. She held the title for 28 days before dropping the title back to fellow WWE Diva Jazz. June 13, 2004 at WWE Pay-Per-View Bad Blood Stratus won her 5th won the Womens title for the 5th time in a Fatal Four-Way match defeating fellow WWE Divas Lita, Victoria and Gail Kim. She held the title for 176 days before dropping the title to fellow WWE Diva Lita. January 9, 2005 Stratus Defeated Lita at WWE Pay-Per-View New Years Revolution to win her 6th title win. She then held the title for over 1 year (448 days) before loosing it to her psycho crazy obsessed fan Mickie James. Finally at WWE Pay-Per-View Trish Stratus retirement match she defeated her long time rival Lita to win her final Womens title reign making her the first women is WWE history to win the Womens Title more than 5 times she also retired with the title.

Post-retirement appearances Hall of Fame (2007present)


Trish made a special appearance on December 10, 2007 for Raws 15th Anniversary. On December 22, 2008 episode of Raw she teamed with John Cena to take on Santino Merella and her former on screen protg Beth Phoenix in a mixed tag match. September 14, 2009 Stratus served as the guest hostess of Raw in Toronto and participated in a six-person tag team match, teaming with Montel Vontavious Porter and Mark Henry to defeat Phoenix, Chris Jericho, and The Big Show. Stratus made a surprise appearance at the 2011 Elimination Chamber pay-perview to announce that she would be a trainer on the revival of WWE Tough Enough and stopped LayCool attacking Kelly Kelly. The following month, on March 14, she lost a match to Vickie Guerrero due to interference from LayCool and Dolph Ziggler. After the match, John Morrison and Raw guest star of the night Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi came to her aid. AtWrestleMania XXVII, Stratus, Snooki, and Morrison defeated the team of Ziggler and LayCool. The night after WrestleMania, on Raw, Stratus and Morrison defeated Guerrero and Ziggler. She also appeared on Raw on June 6 and SmackDown on September 16. The following year, on July 23, 2012, she made a guest appearance on Raw's 1000 episode. On the January 28, 2013, episode of Raw, Stratus was announced as a WWE Hall of Fame inductee as part of the 2013 class, making her the youngest Hall of Fame inductee ever at 37. Stephanie McMahon was chosen by Stratus to induct her into the Hall of Fame in April.

Motherhood

During The WWE Hall of Fame ceremony Trish announced that she was pregnant with her first child and on September 30, 2013 Trish gave birth to her first son she named Maximus
