Benchmark: Academic Exhibit: World Studies Chapter 2 Test, Later American Studies Mock Year in Review

To display my achievement and proficiency in the field of social studies, I have selected my Later American Studies mock year in review book and my World Studies test to present. The year in review assignment required me to manufacture a yearbook similar to those of Time or People magazines in which major events of the year are addressed. Mine was for the year 1979, and was thorough and detailed. I received a 100% on that assignment. My World Studies test over Chapter 2, which I earned a near-perfect score on, serves to display my clear understanding of World History and the material presented to us.

I have learned a number of lessons from these social studies assignments. First, I have learned that hard work always pays off in the end. I spent hours on the year in review assignment, and put a significant amount of effort into it, which earned me an A grade. The World Studies test served to teach me that it is important to study for all subjects, even those which you believe to be easy. I distinctly remember thinking to myself, while doing the test, that had I not studied, I would not have done well. These are very valuable lessons to learn.

The lessons that I learned from these assignments will help me greatly in my life postgraduation. I have learned diligence, studiousness, and patience in my endeavors from these assignments. I have also learned not to underestimate the difficulty of a task you have been given, and to always make proper preparations for the successful completion of said tasks.
