and/or extracurricular activities; P107: Be self-motivated in taking responsibility Having a good attendance record at school, work and/or extracurricular activities is extremely important, as it shows that you are willing to take responsibility and remain dedicated to your commitments. Being self-motivated when taking responsibility is also important because self-motivation is much more rewarding and telling of your character than only doing something when other, ulterior motives are at play. My record of attendance of all GSA meetings has clearly spoken to my commitment to these two skills. Through attending, and remaining actively involved, in all GSA meetings, I have clearly demonstrated a good attendance record. I am also self-motived in taking this responsibility to attend GSA meetings, because I feel very passionately for the purposes and mission of the group, and because, as the founder and leader, I believe it to be my responsibility to guide the group effectively. My GSA attendance record has done a few things in specific to display my knowledge of the skills of attendance and self-motivation. First, my perfect attendance record speaks for itself. I have been to every meeting, and contributed to every meeting discussion. This shows that I am willing to remain dedicated to my commitments and responsibilities. Also, my perfect GSA attendance record has served to display my self-motivation because there are few ulterior motives that could be motivating my attendance. My perfect attendance is something that I have achieved due to my self motivation, and nothing else. Good attendance and self-motivation are both very important skills to have both during my high school career and beyond. Good attendance now displays my dedicated and responsible character, and it will serve to do the same during my career as a politician. Elected officials have a very serious responsibility to maintain good attendance in their career fields because the public, and the government, relies upon their attendance to run the nation. Good attendance and self-motivation will also serve me well in adulthood

outside of my career. Not only will it serve to show my dedicated and responsible character, but it will also build healthy relationships with others.
