self-control requiring minimum direction and supervision

The demonstration of safety and self-control requiring minimal direction and supervision is an absolutely crucial skill to have, and one which I have displayed at many points in time. The display of this skill serves to show those around you that you are a responsible and independent individual, and that you are able to handle yourself and your tasks without constant oversight and help. This establishes trust, which is important in any relationship that you have in life, from personal to work relationships. Some specific ways in which I have shown this skill include my cooking and handling of food at the Jackson Democrats concession stand at Michigan State Universitys home football games. I consistently and clearly showed my competence and ability to demonstrate safety when cooking with little supervision. I have also shown this skill when driving my car. I drive to and from school on a daily basis, and have never gotten into a wreck. This serves to showcase my safety and self control when driving. To conclude, demonstrating safety and self-control is one of the most basic skills necessary in life. It will be necessary not only on a daily basis when driving and carrying out other tasks, but also when working as an elected official, as all legislation must, obviously, be safe and not work to indirectly cause safety issues. It will also be important in my life as an independent adult. It will be essential because safety is important in all areas, not exclusively in ones career or personal life. For these reasons, this skill is integral, and I have displayed my good performance in this area.
