Meeting school and/or work deadlines and using charts, graphs or graphic organizers to demonstrate organizational skills are both crucial skills to have and display during ones lifetime. Meeting deadlines serves to show those around you that you are responsible, capable, apt individual. Using charts or graphic organizers to demonstrate organizational skills is also crucial as it better enables you to meet school/work deadlines, and makes you a better, more wellrounded person overall. I have clearly displayed both of these skills through using my school planner. My planner has enabled me to meet school deadlines through the proper organization it gives me. My planner has enabled me to meet deadlines and demonstrate organizational skills in several specific ways. First, my planner has allowed me to remain organized through scheduling and the recording of various homework assignments and due dates. These recordings have enabled me, therefore, to meet school deadlines more efficiently, and better overall. For example, I write down due dates for major assignments in the planner, which allows me to better keep track of those dates and assignments. I also write down major appointments in my planner in order to maintain responsibility and attendance of events that I have committed to. Meeting deadlines and using charts or graphic organizers to demonstrate organizational skills is hugely important for me currently, as well as in the future, during my career as an elected official. It is important to my life now in one major way, and that is that both meeting deadlines and keeping organized displays responsibility and initiative. Both skills help me to better accomplish my assigned tasks, and both skills help me to remain responsible. The same will apply to my future career as an elected official, as I will need to meet deadlines and keep organized when conducting government business. It will also help me to be a generally wellrounded and put together adult.
