Directions
1. Print, cut, and laminate the piggy cards and piggy bank place mat for each set of partners.

2. Get 20 play pennies and a non-see-through plastic cup for each set of partners. 3. Run off a recording sheet for each student. 4. (Optional) Print out and laminate a How to Play page for easy reference. 5. (Optional) Print out game label and tape to a large ziplock bag or envelope to keep the recording sheets in. This is a perfect activity for practicing part-partwhole or number combinations. It can be used whole group, in centres, or in small groups for guided math.

How to Play:
1 Player 1 chooses a piggy card.

Player 1 puts that many pennies on the piggy bank. Player 2 closes their eyes and player 1 covers up some of the pennies with the cup. When done, player 1 says Peek-A-Boo!

Player 2 counts the number of pennies showing and records that number on their recording sheet. Then partner 2 determines how many pennies are hiding under the cup and records that number in the circle on their recording sheet. Then they complete the equation.

Player 1 checks the answer. Then the players switch places.

Directions Label: Cut out and tape to a large ziplock bag or envelope to keep the recording sheets in.
