HANUMAAN CHALISA KA EK VISHISHTH PRAYOG

Sankat Kate Mite Sab Peera Jo Sumire Hanumant Balbeera

Stotra holds an important place in both Indian Aagam and Nigam.
Normally, description of Stotra is that Stotra is collection of special
words through which prayer of Isht is done. Actually there are many
types of Stotra but in Tantra, these Stotras are not taken lightly. Tantra
is the field where at each and every step one comes across infinite
secrets. May be it is Shiv Tandav Stotra or Siddh Kunjika, all of them
contains many hidden procedures and sadhnas embedded in them.
Many Stotra, Armour (Kavach), Sahastranaam (1000 names),
Khadagmaal have been uttered by Aadi Shiv or Shakti which are selfaccomplished and these Stotra are part and parcel of various Tantra.
Besides this, Many Mahasiddhs also did sadhna of their Isht,
manifested them and thereafter created Stotra and got blessings from

their Isht so that Stotra can be used for welfare of common people.
Such Stotra are certainly providers of all accomplishments. Above
lines are of Hanuman Chalisa. In todays era, hardly you will find a
person who is unaware of Hanuman Chalisa. Actually Hanuman
Chalisa is one special sadhna procedure in which power of many
siddhs works, this Chalisa, group of various Sabar Mantra is full of
infinite powers. Well , In todays era one can find Chalisa related to
each god and goddess but if seen from Tantra point of view , they are
nothing more than poetry since they have neither the consciousness
not the power of Isht. Besides this, they do not bear imprints of any
Mahasiddh too. There is no difference between such Chalisa and
other works of poetry. Sadhak can himself decide what and how one
can achieve anything by reading them. Certainly, reading any Chalisa
other than Aadi Chalisa i.e. Hanuman Chalisa is incapable of
providing accomplishments.
If it is read carefully and minutely then it is Sabar prayer of Aadinath
form of Lord Shiva, basic form of Hanuman. If sadhak tries to
understand the abstract meaning of phrase like Kaanan Kundal,
Sankar Suvan, Tumharo Mantra, Aapan Tej, Gurudev Kee Nai, Asht
Siddhi etc., many types of secrets can be unveiled.
Many years before, in the preliminary days of my entry into sadhna
world, I met one sadhak named Jigyesh of Junagarh. He had keen
interest in Yog and Tantric sadhna from childhood. He had special
interest in discovering about siddhs of Girnar region. He possessed

very good knowledge about vidyas like Sammohan and Vashikaran.

His Isht was Hanuman. During discussion relating to Tantra, first of all
he provided me the special information about Hanuman Chalisa. He
told that
Jo Sat Baat Paath Kare Koi , Chhothee Banee Mahasukh Hoi
The person, who reads Hanuman Chalisa 100 times, gets freedom
from bondage and he attains great pleasure. But it is not so much
easy. Its meaning in materialistic terms may be anything but from
spiritual point of view, bondage means both internal and physical
bondage. And Great pleasure means attaining state of peaceful mind.
But for attaining any state, it is necessary for sadhak to do definite
procedure because one definite procedure can make possible the
attainment of definite result.
He told me one prayog related to Hanuman Chalisa, which is being
mentioned here. But before it, some necessary facts relating to it are
worth knowing.
This prayog of Hanuman Chalisa can be done in both the manner
Sakaam (for fulfilment of desire) and Nishkaam (without any desire).
Therefore, before doing anushthan by sadhak, taking resolution of his
wish is necessary. If the prayog is being done for fulfilment of special
desire then sadhak should take Sankalp (resolution) that I , sadhak
named your name is doing this prayog for this ..work , Lord
Hanuman provide me Shakti and your blessing for success in it . If

sadhak is doing prayog in Nishkaam manner then it is not necessary

to take Sankalp. If sadhak is doing sadhna in Sakaam manner then
sadhak should establish picture of Lord Hanuman in Veer Bhaav in
front of him i.e. in which he has picked up mountain or in which he is
destroying asurs. But if one has to do Nishkaam sadhna then sadhak
should establish picture of Hanuman in servant form in front of him i.e.
in which he is in state of meditation or in which he is sitting near the
feet of Lord Rama.
Sadhak should do this procedure all alone. If sadhak is doing this
procedure in his room, then at the time of chanting no one should be
present in room excluding him.
The fact that female sadhaks cannot do Hanuman Chalisa or sadhna
is only a misconception. Any sadhika can do Hanuman sadhna or
prayog. During menstrual cycle, this prayog or any sadhna cannot be
done. Sadhak and sadhika should follow celibacy for total 3 days i.e.
on the day of prayog, previous day and next day.
In Sakaam Upasana, dress will be red and in Nishkaam sadhna,
saffron robe coloured dress will be used. Direction will be north in both
the cases. Sadhak should offer Bhog of jaggary and boiled gram. Any
fruit can be offered. Sadhak can light oil or ghee lamp. Sadhak should
offer Aak (swallow-wart) flowers or red coloured flowers. Sadhak
should do this prayog on any Tuesday night after 10:00 P.M. First of
all, sadhak should take bath, wear dress and sit on red aasan. Sadhak

should keep 100 flowers of Aak near himself. If it is not possible in any
way then he should keep 100 flowers of red colour. Sadhak should
then spread red cloth on Baajot in front of him and establish
picture/yantra/idol of Hanuman Ji. After it, sadhak should light the
lamp. Sadhak should do Guru Poojan, chant Guru Mantra and do
normal Poojan of Hanuman Ji. After this, sadhak should recite HAM
beej for some time and thereafter he should do Anulom, Vilom
Pranayama. After Pranayama, sadhak should take water in his hand
and take Sankalp and speak out his desire. After it sadhak should do
Ram Raksha Stotra or chant RAAM RAAMAAY NAMAH as per his
capacity. After Jap, sadhak should do dhayan of Hanuman Ji
assuming him to be present in three nerves viz. Ida, Pingla and
Sushumana and start recitation of Hanuman Chalisa. Sadhak should
have to recite it 100 times in that night. After each recitation, offer one
flower to yantra/picture /idol of Hanuman Ji. In this manner, sadhak
should offer 100 flowers after 100 recitations. After 100 recitations
sadhak should recite HAM beej for some time and offer mantra Jap
in feet of Hanuman Ji.
In this manner, this prayog is completed. On the next day, sadhak
should immerse the flowers. Besides this, sadhak also told me some
important prayogs related to Hanuman Chalisa which has been
experienced multiple times. Efforts will be made to put forward those
prayogs so that entire sadhak community can benefit from it.
