Question Sheet 1. What is your position on this article?

Are you for/against politicians in the government creating a law to ban any type of religious symbols (turbans, crucifix. etc.) in regards to public employees and their attire? (Teachers, health care practitioners, courthouse employees). 2. Do you think that the government can implement such a law? If yes how would they do so? If not why not? 3. Do you think everyone should assimilate in culture and beliefs in Quebec even though it is a multiethnic and multireligious society? Or do you think everyone should still have freedom of choice and be able to practice their own religious beliefs and have differentiation? 4. Should the government have the ability to influence the practice of religion? Why or why not? 5. If the government restricts the practices of religious customs, does that encourage multiculturalism or does it restrict it?
