FUNCTIONAL ORGANISATION
MEANING
Functional organization is next to line organization. F. W. Taylor conceived the functional organization structure. According to him, it is unscientific to overload a foreman with the entire responsibility of running a department. He suggested a system of functional foremanship. In his functional foremanship, there will be eight specialists foremen called Functional Bosses.
