Creation of Narrati%e ( cript of %oiceo%er * PTC in tudio * location broadca t" Documentary Binfield Dog Rescue Narrator (Voice Over): Every year up to 7 million dogs are forced into animal shelters nationwide. Up to half of the animals are killed every year because shelters are too full and there arent enough adoptive homes to take them on. Why is there such a high percentage of animal not being rehomed and why is there so many animals being abandoned? Today on this documentary we find out what is the main reason millions of cats and dogs are abandoned and how we can make a difference to stop animals being put down. (Establishing shot of the Dog Rescue in Binfield. lso im!ortant facts and figures "ill a!!ear on the screen# for e$am!le %& 'illion Dogs# this "ill also hel! to em!hasi(e ho" many dogs are actually abandoned).

Sheila response to !uestion" Hannah How Tess progressed since youve had her? Sheila response to !uestion" Hannah How long have you had Tess? Sheila response to !uestion" Narrator (Voice Over): There is a small local dog rescue centre in #infield$ #erkshire that holds up to an average of %&& dogs a year. Their youngest dog being held at the moment is a dog called 'una$ a cross between a (ack )ussell Terrier and an *merican #ulldog Terrier. *t +,- months 'una has found it difficult to adapt to the surroundings of the kennel and sometimes can come across !uite shy to fellow visitors. 'una was brought to the rescue because the cat in her previous home fre!uently attacked her$ leaving 'una with nothing but bruises and scratches resulting in her blue patch on her eye. The owners thought it would be the best outcome for 'una by putting her in a shelter. .owever they didnt realise that 'una has a %&/ chance of being put down in the ne0t si0 months if no one adopts her. (0ootage of the dogs at the rescue "ithout a home# this "ill be !laying over the narration). )nt. Narrator (Voice Over): Staffies, collies, labradors, german shepherds, springers, yorkies and cockers are the most popular breed to be abandoned. Although the dogs are in cages, there are people to volunteer to walk the dogs as much as possible to help stretch their legs. (While the voiceover is playing we will have pictures of the different breeds of dogs in the background). )N*. Elaine,s house - living room# Binfield# Brac1nell /annah How long have you had max?
