Shopping Mall Transaction Control Using Smart Card and GSM Techniques

The system can be implemented in shopping malls for transactions using debit cards. After purchase a card will be inserted in the system. User id and name can be stored in cards and it will be displayed on LCD after card insertion. The system will consist of two units. One unit will be implemented at mall which will act as a client terminal and another unit will be implemented at bank which will act as server The mall unit client terminal! consists of LCD to display user balance" shopping amount" updated balance" time etc. Card interface will be provided at this unit to insert the card. Total amount of shopping can be entered using keypad. Also keypad can be used to enter the password. This data will be conveyed to server using #$% port connected to the system. At server another #$% port will receive this data and send it to the &C through micro controller. The balance from account of particular person will be deducted accordingly. 't will also send current balance back to the shopping mall terminal. This current balance will be displayed on LCD at shopping mall terminal. The database at server side can be done using () *.+ and %$ access.
