Problem Prioritization

1. Pain related to tissue trauma secondary to Appendectomy Pain is a subjective feeling and it must be address immediately as greatly influences the patients vital signs, thereby having an effect on the patients overall health status. (Maslow: Physiologic need- pain avoidance) 2. Altered Physical mobility related to pain Pain is a subjective feeling and it must be address immediately as greatly influences the patients vital signs, thereby having an effect on the patients overall health status. (Maslow: Physiologic need- pain avoidance) 3. Impaired skin integrity related to surgical Incision The patients impaired tissue integrity secondary to surgical procedure should be attended immediately as it may cause certain complications such as infection.(Maslow: Physiologic need) 4. Risk for infection related to surgical incision secondary to Appendectomy Infection could lead to more complications on the patients condition and so it is essential to resolve this problem. (Maslow: Security, safety and protection)

Prioritization of problems are according to Maslows Hierarchy of needs.
