On motion of Mr. XXX, seconded by Mr. XXX, it was moved to adopt the following resolution:

RESOLUTION SBPC #1125-02-14

A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE HOSPITAL SERVICE DISTRICT TO SUBMIT A LIST OF OPERATIONAL NEGATIVE IMPACT ITEMS IF THE HOSPITAL WERE MANAGED BY A LARGE ESTABLISHED REGIONAL HEALTH CARE PROVIDER. WHEREAS, The Hospital Service District in 2013 requested a 3 million dollar line of credit, in the form of revenue anticipation bond; and WHEREAS, The Hospital Service District in 2013 requested a 9 million dollar tax, a 30 mil property tax, to be placed on the April 2014 ballot; and WHEREAS, The Hospital Service District in 2014 requested a 5 million dollar line of credit, in the form of revenue anticipation bond; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the St. Bernard Parish Council, the governing authority, does hereby respectfully request the Hospital Service District to submit a list of operational negative impact items if the hospital were managed by a large established regional health care provider. The above and foregoing having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereupon resulted as follows: YEAS: NAYS: ABSENT: The Chairman, Mr. McInnis, cast his vote as XXX.
