Big Idea: I want students to understand about ways to protect our planet by reducing, recycling and reusing. I want students to understand that Earth has a weather cycle that consist in four stations. I want students to understand what each station is for the year here in Chicago. Objectives: students will Children will explore the world of recycling by becoming actively engage in the process of sorting and deciding what goes where and what a difference each of us makes if we recycle. Use a variety of strategies to comprehend written or oral language from a variety of sources Actively listen to audio

Theme Questions: What do you know about reducing, reusing and recycling? What do people throw away? Where does trash go? What do workers do there? How can we reuse junk? How can we create less trash?
