HOW TO JOIN STRIPS

1.- Use two wires (positive-red and negative-black) to join strips, remove the plastic protection of each ends. 2.- Weld (with soldering iron and solder) the ends of the two wires into the signals positive (+) y negative (-) of the strips.

How to weld at a cut location:

When pieces of the strip are cut off, these can still be used independently. Before using your new Steren 5m LED light strip, please read this instruction manual to prevent any damage. Put it away in a safe place for future referen To do so, weld the cables to the same terminals, and connect them in the same manner as you would the rest of the strip. 3 .- Wrap the connection with duct tape to prevent electric shock or seal with silicone to withstand contact with water.

HIGHLIGHTS

2.- Take the adequate measurements to determine what length of strip you will need.

If you need to cut a strip, be sure to do so along the line marked. Cuts can be made every 3 LEDs (5cm).

3.- Remove the protective strip on the adhesive located underside of the strip, and place it in the desired location (plastic, metal, aluminum, glass, wood, etc.). For a better adhesion, use silicone to secure the strip. 4.- Choose one of the two power source options which bests suits your needs (the LED strip does not include its own power source).

Connect the positive (red) cable an negative (black) cable to the corresponding positive (+) and negative (-) ends of a 12V power source. For example, a battery.

Using power sources (not included) Steren offers products to power the strips correctly in case that you want to connect multiple strips in serial. Next table specifies the model of power sources that can help to power up the strips.

UNIR VARIAS TIRAS

1.- En caso de que necesite unir dos tiras, necesitar dos cables para positivo (rojo) y negativo (negro), corte media pulgada de capa plstica del alambre en ambos extremos y deje expuesto el alambre. 2.- Soldar (con cautn y soldadura de estao) los dos extremos de los cables (positivo=rojo y negativo=negro) a las marcas positivo (+) y negativo (-) en ambos lados de las tiras LED.

Como soldar en un punto de corte:

Antes de utilizar su nueva Tira de LEDs flexible adherible de 5m Steren, lea este instructivo para evitar cualquier mal funcionamiento. Gurdelo para futuras referencias. Cuando corte secciones de la tira puede utilizarla independientemente. Para hacerlo, suelde cables a las terminales y conecte de la misma manera que la tira completa. 3.- Envuelva la conexin con cinta de aislar para evitar descargas elctricas o selle con silicn para soportar el contacto con agua .

CARACTERSTICAS
La tira de LEDs se encuentra encapsulada en un material plstico totalmente sellado y muy flexible, que permite instalarla en diferentes superficies y formas planas. Su cinta adherible facilita la instalacin en aparadores, anuncios y superficies de cristal, sin requerir de accesorios adicionales para su fijacin. Tiene 300 LEDs ultrabrillantes encapsulados en una longitud de 5m de largo, es muy ligera y de bajo consumo de energa.

En caso de que requiera cortar la tira, haga el corte sobre la lnea marcada, la tira flexible se puede cortar cada 3 LEDs (5 cm).

3.- Retire el protector de la cinta adherible ubicada en la parte inferior de la tira y pegue en la zona deseada (plstico, metal, aluminio, vidrio, madera, etc). Para una mejor adherencia, utilice silicn para fijar la tira. 4.- Elija una de las dos opciones para alimentar la tira segn sus necesidades (la tira de LEDs no incluye fuente de alimentacin):

Opcin 1.

Conectar el cable positivo (rojo) y negativo (negros) de la tira de LEDs a la marca positiva (+) y negativa (-) de la fuente de alimentacin de 12V, por ejemplo una batera.

Opcin 2.

Utilizacin de fuente de voltaje (no incluida). Steren le ofrece diferentes productos para alimentar correctamente las tiras en caso de que necesite conectarlas en serie. A continuacin se presenta una tabla para especificar el producto que puede utilizar.
