Unit Assessment Activity

Assessment Overview Students are to perform their skit for the teacher/class. They are to project their multimedia PowerPoint unto a screen while performing their special talent, they can either choose to play the recording of their rap at the same time, or rap it live. They are also to present the teacher with their poster and ComicLife Story board advertising their show. This is an assessment task. Students Assessment Assessable evidence of students learning will include: The level of understanding/participation shown throughout the activities and discussions. Level of completion, creativity, originality and care taken in of all tasks Appropriate and creative use of technologies

Steps to ensure outcome of lesson Organise to have a second teacher help to supervise students while class teacher is viewing the performances.

Personal Evaluation of the Unit I believe that students and teachers alike will be thoroughly engaged in this unit. This unit makes use of almost all art forms and could easily be modified for older/younger/diverse learning needs students. I think that for most of the activities, time will have to be put aside in future lessons for some students to finish the assessment/rehearse the final performance, although I can imagine eager students practising at lunch times to get it just right!
