ECUADOR-COLUMBIA
In 1906 an earthquake hit in Ecuador & columbia. On January 31, 1906 an earthquake hit in Esmerelda, Ecuador. The magnitude was 8.8 and it caused a tsunami. The
most damage happened in Rio Veird, Ecuador and Micay, Columbia. Between 500 and 1500 people became dead because of the huge Terrifying tsunami.

This earthquake caused about 1000 deaths. this On March 6 earthquake was 1987 the about 25 km away Reventador from the ,Ecuador Reventador earthquake centered in Napo Volcano. The Richter scale was made by a man named Charles Franis Richter. In 1928 He first used it, and in 1935 the richter scale was measured on an earthquake.
On February 9, 2013 an earthquake hit with a magnitude of 6.9. The Nario earthquake did not start in Ecuador it started in a country called Columbia. The earthquake hit Ecuador and Puru. About 260 people became homeless and only about 40 people reported hurt or injured.
