Defense.
• NSF Net came into existence.

• Due to non-funding ARPA Net was shut down in


1990 and NSF Net discontinued in 1995.

 A Web browser is a
application software that is
used to view Web pages.
 Most of the browsers can

the html text and convert
it into a page.
 Currently there are two
popular GUI based Web
browsers, the Netscape
communicator and the
Microsoft Internet
Explorer. Others are
Mosaic, Mozilla FireFox,
