    Mission: Dark Side of the Moon The mission brief is to retrieve critical defense data stored in Information Data Pods (IDPs) from Outpost 29 on the dark side of the moon. Communications were lost with screams being the last transmission, implying discovery of a Tyranid brood nest.     Mission: Dark Side of the Moon

    Mission Brief: Generals a small outpost designated as Outpost 29 located on the dark side of the moon our communicators lost all vox contact with outpost 29 at 0200 yesterday morning, its believed that they had discovered data critical to our defence and have been stored in information data pods or IDPs for short, but uncovered something else in their foundations, this is the outposts last vox cast It looks like a nest ###### by the emperor what are those *screams*###### end transmission, if we are to push back this invasion we need those pods, if these pods fall into enemy hands with that information they would be able to strike at our weakest point. Objectives: The objective of this mission generals is to get to the bunker which we believe has unearthed a brood nest below its foundations, and retrieve the data pods left there but the surveying team, your opponent is already on route so GET MOVING GO GO GO GO !!!!!

    Deployment and point allocation: Each player is allocated with 450pts to spend on this mission, you may only use troop choices in this covert mission, you may use units from pervious battles which have veteran skills, the setup for this mission is as follows each player setups up using the pitched battle setup rules, in the centre of the board a bunker with one entrance or a suitable reprehensive piece of terrain in side this bunker place D3+4 tyranid termagant models or similar models to represent creatures from the nest, these creatures must be killed in close combat for the player to claim the pod, they have a 5+ armour save, *note armour save not invulnerable* these creatures are automatically destroyed if the bunker is destroyed. Game length, and special rules: This game goes for 6 turns but can end if the rules below are meet, player with the data pod must get it to their board edge by the end of the sixth turn, if one player completely destroys the other player then it is presumed that the players troopers collect the pods in the rubble, ** the defender goes first for this mission********

    PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS GAME IS PLAYED ON A 40 by 40 BOARD AND THAT THE WHOLE GAME IS PLAYED WITH NIGHT FIGHTING RULES******************
