Students should be able to:


To understand, encourage and develop a high degree of precision in the physical skills used. Through target games the students will he fundamental movement skills employed which include hand eye co!ordination (accuracy of hit, throw or kick, etc) and concentration on a specific target. To understand that target games are unopposed or opposed games. "n opposed games, the element of placement in relation to the opponent s ob#ect is introduced, in addition to accuracy.

Global (Real Life) Learning Intention: )arget Sports Students will link skills, technique, actions and ideas of a variety of target sports (golf, Frisbee, petanque, bowls, archery) and apply them accurately and appropriately in opposed and unopposed situations. The player s performance will show precision, fluency and control, and that they can understand tactics and composition. They will compare and comment on hand eye!co!ordination, techniques and develop ideas used in their own and other s work. This knowledge will be applied to improve performance technically and tactically during a various game situations.
