    Gediz Meat products is a export firm about red meat and it was founded 5 years ago by Murat and Melis. In first place , it was a domestic firm and distribute meat all over the Turkey from Izmr. Now Gediz Meat Products export beef , lamb , and goats meet whole world.

    Mission and Vision


    MISSION Produce halal products and transmit to places where there are lacks of halal meats. VISION Become top of the sector first in Turkey than in the world.

    Catalogue
    BEEF : Beef constitues %76 of meats production in Turkey. It is important for sectors because big firms such as Burger King and McDonald use beef and write it their logos.

    LAMB: Lamb is important for islamic countries because they usually sacrifice lamb at sacrifice holiday. It has %25 parts of meat production in Turkey.

    GOATS MEET: It has less percentage of all of it. Because its meet stiffier than others.

    Market Situation
    Research shows that 85 percent of the worlds population prefer red meat even if it has some disadvantages for health. According to TUIK data bases 482.000 ton red meat was produced last year in Turkey but we estimate it was approximately 912.000 ton because of illegal slaughtering. And 266.305 ton was exported to abroad. Key players of world red meat production are Asia %30.8 and South Africa %20.1.

    66% of Turkey total meat exports were made to Iraq in 2012. So that we choose Iraq as target market. First year we will make our export only to Iraq. Other years we will expand our targets to OIC (Organisation of Islamic Cooperation)
