1. Students should know the 4 layers of Earths atmosphere
2. Students should know all key terms from lessons
3. Students should be able to use a wind scale

Implementation
A. Introduction
1. Before beginning the review game, teacher will explain the
rules to the students
2. Rules to Sink or Swim:
a. Students will be split into 3 teams
b. Only one person from each team will answer a question
c. If that team member get question correct, that team
member will either:
i. Sink a person from another ship OR
1. This person must get out of seat and sit
on the floor
ii. Take a person from another ship to be on his/her
team, or ship
1. Student must swim over to the other
ship
d. If a person is sunk, they may not answer a question
UNTIL
i. That persons team saves him
e. Teams can save a sunken member by answering a
question correctly
f. If any students break a rule, they will be out of the
game
g. The winning team will win small prize
B. Development
1. Students will split into 3 groups, or ships
a. Teacher will begin by asking first group their question
i. Teacher will be sure to give all teams an even
amount of questions
b. Teacher will have 17 questions prepared
i. After last student answers question, teacher will
begin repeating questions
1. Teacher will be sure not to give any
students the same question they had
c. When the game is over, teacher will give each member
on the winning ship their choice of a patterned pencil

i. At the end of class, each student will receive a


study guide
1. Students will be given time to work on
their study guide

1. Teacher will review study guide questions
2. Students must be sure to have all the correct answers on their
study guide
