Governments at all levels have a major impact on our lives. Governments provide many of the essential services we use. They pass laws that influence the foods we eat the su!jects we study in school and the clothes that we wear. Government policies may affect the num!er of doctors servin" our area the price of "asoline or when we can "et our driver#s license. These are !ut a few of the many ways that "overnments have an impact on the lives of ordinary Canadians.
