Overview: Thechildrenwillhaveasheetofpaperwithshapesonit,andthechildrenwillusetheshape manipulativestofillintheshapesonthepaper.Thechildrenwillcomeupwithmultipleshapes thatwillfitintothebiggeroneontheirsheet.Thenwewillidentifyandshareabouttheshapes thatthechildrenused. MathematicalGoals: Thestudentswilllearndifferentnamesofshapes. Thestudentswilllearnhowsmallershapescanbeputtogethertocreatelargerones. Teacherwillmodelastructureforstudents. During Studentswillbegivenasheetofpaperwithanimageonit.Theywillbetoldtousethe differentshapemanipulativesonthetabletofillinthepicture.
