Essential Literacy Skills Student Recommendation Survey Essential Literacy Skills is an intervention class where students will receive

an individualized, skills-based plan of work designed to address their areas of weakness. They will receive direct support with the assignments and learning goals from their grade level English course. Students will apply reading fix-up strategies and develop an effective and meaningful writing process. This course is credit/no credit, and students must earn a 70% or higher to receive credit.
