Philosophy of Education
I believe that Education will help people be someone in life. The purpose of education is to learn all subjects about life and to develop our own ideas that will contribute to the world. I want to be part of young kids lifes and be a positive influence on them. I know all students have potential and I want their inner light to transfer to the outside. I believe that my students will be able to express their creativity through Manipulatives and through teamwork just like what Johann Pestalozzi believed. A students role is just as important as the teachers. Students must have commitment to learn and they should be motivated to go to school every single day. They should be able to cooperate with their peers and be able to explore their curiosity through learning. I believe a teachers role is to guide all students to a better path by providing resources and knowledge to their students. Teachers can help students emotionally, intellectually, and socially. A teachers role in relation to students is professional and caring.

I believe that I should know my students learning styles and know how to apply them to my curriculum in the future. Each student is unique and it will be my pleasure to help them develop their own talents and bring out their fullest potential. I want my students to learn in a safe environment, an environment where they can feel valuable and important. Some knowledge I want to impart to my students is the different cultures that exist in the world and the

understanding of diversity and equality. Also, I want teach children how to appropriately express themselves through respect. Learning how to write and read is a basic skill but is truly important. These are some of the skills and knowledge I want to impart on my students. This is my goal.

Classroom management is really important in a students learning environment. Students spend most of their time in classrooms and they will be able to learn in a classroom where there are expectations and goals. The students will not only learn subjects but can also learn how to interact with other students in a positive way by staying on task. In order for learning to happen, I will create procedures for students to follow which will allow teamwork to happen. Through my organization, I will be able to reflect about my teaching and improve what students didnt get about the assignments.

I will help my students discover the importance of life and help them make a difference in their lives and of others around the world. I want to develop the idea of, Treat people as if they were what they ought to be and you help them to become what they are capable of being, by Johann W. Von Goethe. This is why proper communication is important in a childs learning. I will help each student succeed. I will make students feel important. I will develop their own talents.
