Abstract
In order to estimate the energy consumption status and demand of residential hotel in Chongqing mountainous rural region of
farmhouse tourism, we did field studies on building envelope, building energy consumption, indoor and outdoor thermal and
humidity environment. Based on the data of investigation, this paper summarize the main building envelope and building
consumption situation of typical residential hotel of farmhouse tourism, and analyze total energy consumption with the seasons
change and the proportion of different kinds of energy consumption. The result shows that, typical residential hotel of farmhouse
tourism in Chongqing havent taken insulation technology into consideration, the indoor thermal and humidity environment is cold
and moist in winner. But the future attention of thermal insulation properties of building envelope could be helpful to the
improvement of winter indoor comfort, thus, the tourist amount could increase and result in a energy consumption increasing.
