    This traditional bracket bonding procedures provided a consistently adequate bond strength when using various etchants as well as SEPs. NO fluoride releasing effect

    Desirable characteristics are: 1. Their ability to chemically bond to tooth structure 2. Sustained fluoride release following bonding. Particularly , adjacent to brackets. But because of their lower bond strengths their use for bonding orthodontic brackets became fairly limited.
