The topic my portfolio is based on is The causes and effects of domestic violence in my community. In researching this topic I used various amounts of websites and articles to broaden my knowledge on the topic. A questionnaire was also done to get some feedback from my community members since this portfolio was based on domestic violence in my neighbourhood, Mon Repos. In this presentation, I will present to you what I have learnt while doing research on this topic and I will also asses the reliability and validity of my sources. From my research I learnt that this dilemma faces not only my community, but the entire country of Trinidad and Tobago to a great extent. Deaths due to domestic violence have increased in Trinidad and Tobago with homicides due to domestic violence second only to gang murders. There are many factors that cause
