Hi! To introduce myself, I am a detailed obsessed designer, who loves being at the crossroads of design, technology and people. I find joy and enjoy the challenge of finding and constructing solutions apt to the context. I revel most in working across variety of domains and technologies. I did masters in new media design from National Institute of Design (NID), a premier design institute in India. Recently it was ranked 15th amongst 30 best design schools in the world by Ranker (link) and by Businessweek (link) in 2009. About Company ABB is a leader in power and automation technologies that enable utility and industry customers to improve performance while lowering environmental impact. One of its arm which manufactures industrial motors also provides maintenance service to their customers. Project Brief Currently the maintenance and service department, captures the service requests over phone calls and executes them by visits to customers. About Company NetApp provides network storage solutions that enable virtualization, cloud computing and storage efficiency to improve efficiency, agility and big data.
Project Brief While working on another project for NetApp, we came across the interface of the customer care center software. This software is extremely crucial to the number of queries handled each day at the center, thus also affecting the sales of the company and salaries of the call center executives. The software was quite tedious to use and we approached netapp with a new design. Constraint was that they had very recently the not-so-efficient SAP software and could not afford the time or cost for a new one.

The effort required in the given task decreases by 5 steps / 1 screen / 3 tabs. The navigational difficulties arising due to a lot of tabs is considerably decreased. Information is arranged in a manner to help the executive to solve issues and take decisions quickly by giving him the details required on the front screen itself. The User Interface is much more intuitive with functionalities arranged to assist the executive to complete the workflow in the most effective manner.

Project Brief Build Your Own BMW, is the customization feature on the BMW website. This feature allows customers to customize a car to their own needs. Cognizant was trying to pitch to BMW for their project. This was a sample designed to pitch and showcase the capabilities of the company to acquire the project.
