Create a list of and view a wide range of different persuassive texts - reviews, letters, advertisements, posters, expositions, debate, by the end narrative style etc. of term 1 Develop a process (flow chart) for writing persuassive writing according to what the children believe is important by the end to be included of term 1 Create list of 5 things that we can do to improve our own persuassive writing week 5 term 2

Conference with children to check their list of improvements. Make sure they're on the right track. Create individual matrix based on 5 areas to improve in persuassive writing Create another work sample with children using the flow chart to model their writing on. Have sample 1 assessed by teacher Video children based on their week 6 feedback of their work sample 1 - How do you feel after assessing yourself and being assessed by another sutdent and the teacher. What did you do well? What would you differently? Where to next? 2 - KEEP 3 topics!! Week 6 Sample Children can re-do their work again making improvements, or same topic but different format. Children may choose new format and new topic everytime. Leave it up to the children! Week 7 Repeat process for 3rd sample - but let the children choose their topic and style of persuassive writing based on their interests on passions. Collect third sample of writing and matrices as end of line data (4 children's pieces of work - 2 grade 3's & 2 grade 4's)
