Teens on the Rekenrek

Materials: 20 bead rekenreks, numeral cards 11-19 ______________________________________________________________________________

1. Work with a partner. Take turns to turn over a numeral card. 2. Show the number on the card as tens and ones on a rekenrek. If you push 10 beads across on the top row, how many beads will you need to push across on the bottom row? 3. Describe the number using the math talk sentence.
