Create a timeline of events with your group (try not to spoil the ending for those who have not read the book). 3. From your timelines, each group member should pick an event to create a connection-orama for (everyone will we working with a different event). 4. Choose what type of connection you would like to do: a. Text to World b. Text to Text c. Text to Self

5. Plan your connection-orama. a. Section A is where the event from your story will be. b. Section B is where your connection will be. c. Section C is where your floor is. d. Section D is completely covered up (your name and book will go on the back side of Section D). 6. Create your connection-orama a. Fold a square piece of paper diagonally both ways (figure 1). b. Cut along one of your diagonal cuts up to the middle (figure 2). c. Put all of your information onto your connection-orama (figure 3 is the layout). d. Make sure that everything is on your connection-orama before you move on to the final step! e. Staple, glue, or tape your connection-orama together so it stands up.
