The Syrian Refugee Crisis: The Plight of the Refugees

As the crisis in Syria rages on, an unprecedented number of men, women, and children have entered the status of refugee. Some estimates believe over 6 million people are currently affected. This includes some 2 million children. These refugees face tremendous difculties on meeting basic needs for food, water, shelter, and clothing. These are violations of human rights; the crisis is one the international community must face.
