Die Etiiden sind nach Schwierigkeitsgrad geordnet und um jeweils ein Problem gruppiert, Die drei Bande kénnen als Ergiinzungsmaterial zu jeder beliebi- ger Flétenschule angewandt werden. Ihre Anwendung sollte vom Fort- schritt des Schiilers und nicht von ihrer Klasse abhangen. Der erste Band ist Anfangern, der zweite Fortgeschrittenen der Grundstufe, der dritte den Schiilern auf mittlerer Stufe empfohlen, The present three volumes contain 176 studies by 25 composers. The selec- tion was made according to technical usefulness and musical value. The studies follow in order of the grade of difficulty and are grouped around certain problems. All three volumes can be applied as supplementary mate- rial to any flute tutor.
