Summary of revisions to the interface of the Articulate Studio project

The feedback on the interface of the structure of the unit was helpful in allowing me to receive different perspectives on the needs of the learner. At first, I was providing an overload of text, so I revised a bit by removing some detailed content and only showed the key points while narrating in more depth. I needed to provide more explanation of the navigation buttons on each page allowing the learner to know the options for personal learning styles and preferences (i.e. viewing of notes). An overview was provided to explain the purpose of the unit as well as an explanation on how to navigate through the tutorial for a self-paced learning experience. The objectives were given in the beginning to provide the learner the content covered throughout the instructional unit. After considering the feedback for the navigation and operation of labels and icons of the project, I decided to provide more cues and reminders for each slide so the learner would know the options for continuing, pausing, or going back at any point during the instructional unit. The feedback on the learners location throughout the instructional unit made me more aware of the need to provide a reminder of the estimated time at the beginning of each module. This would allow the learner to manage the pace in which the unit was being completed so that time would not escape before the completion. I also added an estimated amount of time that was needed to complete the pretest and posttest as well.

I received good feedback on the screen design and the images chosen to enhance the unit of instruction. The colors that were chosen were aesthetically pleasing and were part of the same color scheme.
