This particular boo k contains information about how to do spells and powerful rituals for the Spiri t, Exu Meia Noite, the Quimbanda Spirit Exu of 12 Midnight. 5

EXU MEIA NOITE RITUAL CEREMONY TO INVOKE THE POWERS OF THE SPIRIT EXU MEIA NOITE The powerful Quimbanda Spirit, Exu Meia Noite is the patron spirit of black magi cians. This powerful spirit knows the secrets and rituals of how to cast powerfu l black magic spells. Exu Meia Noite is also a powerful healer. He can be petiti oned in both matters of good and evil. This Quimbanda entity is capable of destr oying a person in less than 24 hours, if summoned by someone who is experienced with doing this type of black magic spiritual work. A RITUAL TO SUMMON THE SPIRIT EXU MEIA NOITE (FOR ANY REQUEST) If you have been initiated into the Quimbanda religion and have the actual mysteries of Exu Meia Noite then the ritual should be done directly in front of the nganga containing his spiritual mysteries. If you are not initiated into the Quimbanda mysteries t hen you can perform this ritual in front of your spiritual altar to the Quimband a Trinity. Burn Quimbanda Ritual Incense in the magical ritual area where you wi ll be doing the ceremony. Draw the Quimbanda spirit signature that represents th e Spirit, Exu Meia Noite on the floor using pemba (ritual chalk) directly in fro nt of the altar of the Quimbanda Trinity deities. White Pemba can be used for an y type of spell or ritual. Red Pemba is used in domination or control spells and rituals. Black Pemba is used in black magic spells and rituals of harm. Place a black candle on top of the spirit signature that represents Exu Meia Noite. Pla ce a spiritual offering on a white plate next to the spirit signature. The spiri tual offering will consists of nine balls of cooked corn meal flour, red peppers , palm oil and honey. Begin the Quimbanda ritual by lighting the black candle fi rst, and then using your hand, tap the ground in front of the altar three times. THE GRAND RITUAL OF EXU MEIA NOITE THE GRAND RITUAL OF EXU MEIA NOITE TO INVOKE THE POWERS OF THE DEAD The followin g Quimbanda ceremonial ritual is how to invoke the powers of the dead through th e intercession of the Spirit, Exu Meia Noite. The Grand Ritual of Exu Meia Noite To Invoke The Powers Of The Dead, is used to summon the intranquil spirits to d o your bidding for any spiritual request. The ritual must be performed at 12 Mid night on a Full Moon when the spiritual energies are at their most powerful and the spiritual portal is open from the Earth directly into the World of the Spiri ts. This magical spiritual portal is only open between 12 Midnight until 3 A.M. This magical ritual can be done directly in front of the altar of the Quimbanda Trinity or for the best results in the cemetery in front of a grave stone in the form or shape of a cross. If you will be doing this ritual at the cemetery, the n use the grave stone in the form or shape of a cross as your focus altar point. All grave stones in the form or shape of a cross are the primary magical locati on in the cemetery to manifest the powerful Quimbanda spirits. 15

STEP ONE The Grand Ritual of Exu Meia Noite To Invoke The Powers Of The Dead, us es a ritually prepared black pillar altar candle which must be prepared with the following ingredients in order to summon and invoke the Spirit, Exu Meia Noite and the intranquil spirits. The ritual black candle must be blessed and dressed and then consecrated before ritual use. After the black altar pillar candle has been dressed and consecrated, set it into a candle holder and then place it into and onto the spirit signature of Exu Meia Noite. The black altar pillar candle should be ritually consecrated and dressed by preparing a sacred oil mixture con sisting of the following magical items; Blessed Olive Oil from a Catholic Church Human Bone Powder Magnetic Sand Crushed Quartz Crystals AFTER THE CANDLE HAS BEEN CONSECRATED THEN PLACE IT INTO RITUAL POSITION BEFORE YOU BEGIN THE GRAND RITUAL OF EXU MEIA NOITE TO INVOKE THE POWERS OF THE DEAD. 17

STEP TWO Draw the spirit signature of Exu Meia Noite using pemba in front of the grave stone in the form or shape of a cross at the foot of it. Draw a circle ar ound the spirit signature of Exu Meia Noite in a clockwise position. 18

STEP THREE Draw a large magic circle using white pemba (chalk) (7 feet round in diameter) in a clockwise position directly in front of the grave stone in the fo rm or shape of a cross. Draw the spirit signature of the Quimbanda Cross inside of the magic circle. The spirit signature of the Quimbanda Cross should be made large enough so as the six points of the Quimbanda Cross touch the edges of the magic circle. 19

STEP FOUR Place the Household candles on the cardinal points of the grave stone in the form or shape of a cross by melting the bottoms of each candle and carefu lly attaching them so that they stick to the grave stone. 20

STEP FIVE Place the dressed black altar candle into a candle holder and then pla ce it directly into the center of the spirit signature of Exu Meia Noite. 21

STEP SIX Light the incense charcoal and then place it into the metal incense bur ner. 22

STEP SEVEN Pour the following fragranced oils directly on top of the burning inc ense charcoal; Carnation Fragrance Oil, Rose Fragrance Oil and Cinnamon Fragranc e Oil. -THESE FRAGRANCES ATTRACT THE SPIRITS 23

STEP EIGHT Light the candles on the grave stone in the form or shape of a cross. 24

STEP TEN Perform the Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Quimbanda Cross using your i ndex finger of the right hand. If you have been initiated into the Quimbanda mys teries and have the spirit nganga of Exu Rei, then use the ceremonial sword from his nganga for performing this ritual. The ceremonial sword of Exu Rei is used as a powerful magical tool to command the spirits. THE LESSER BANISHING RITUAL OF THE QUIMBANDA CROSS Facing East, with the Divine Sword of Exu Rei or using the index finger from your right hand do the following : In silence, trace the Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Quimbanda Cross before yo u in the air using the Divine Sword of Exu Rei. STEP TWELVE After successfully performing the Lesser Banishing Ritual of Quimban da Cross and the Greater Invoking Ritual of Quimbanda Cross then face the front of the grave stone in form or shape of a cross with the candles burning on it an d and do the following; the the the say Using your right hand, make the sign of the Quimbanda Trinity Cross over your bo dy. The Quimbanda Trinity sign of the Cross is made by touching the hand sequent ially to the forehead, lower chest or navel area, and right shoulder, then left shoulder and then placing your hands together in a praying position and then kis sing your hands three times. This is how to say and do this: at the forehead, IN THE NAME OF NZAMBI; at the naval, IN THE NAME OF EXU MAIORAL; across to the rig ht shoulder, IN THE NAME OF EXU REI; across to the right left shoulder, IN THE N AME OF MARIA PADILLA REINA; and finally to the center of your heart while placin g your hands together in a praying position, SARAVA; afterwards kiss your hands three times. 30

STEP THIRTEEN Using your right hand, tap the foot of the grave stone seven times . 31

STEP FOURTEEN Kneel down in front of the grave stone and begin to ring the brass bell. While ringing the brass bell say the following invocation; Ago Exu Meia Noite - Sarava Ago Exu Meia Noite - Sarava Ago Exu Meia Noite - Sar ava On this most sacred of all nights I do summon you here and invoke your sacre d mysteries to command the intranquil spirits by my desire and by my command. By the power of Nzambi and the Quimbanda Trinity, I command this sacred ritual int o being Sarava. STEP SEVENTEEN Ring the brass bell and begin to state your spiritual request to Exu Meia Noite. 37

STEP EIGHTEEN After you have completed saying out loud your spiritual request to the spirits then do the License To Departure Conjuration Ritual; THE LICENSE TO DEPARTURE CONJURATION RITUAL A License to Depart is a simple bani shing ritual that you will perform to rid the area of any astral entities and sp irits that might have been attracted to you from the energies you are creating d uring these rituals. The License to Departure Conjuration Ritual can be done in the following ritual by reciting the following: O Mighty God Nzambi, you are the Creator of the Heavens and the Earth. STEPS TO SUCCESSFUL QUIMBANDA SPELL CASTING 1. Familiarize yourself with the par ticular Lesser Quimbanda Kingdom of Exu that you will be working with and all of the Chief Exu Spirits which are guardians of that realm. By familiarizing yours elf with the particular Lesser Quimbanda Kingdom you will be able to decide for yourself if you are in the correct place for the particular type of spell that y ou desire. 2. Decide if you will be using the basic spirit signature of the Quim banda Cross to perform your spell or if you will be using a particular specific spirit signature for the specific type of Exu or Pomba Gira that you will be sum moning. If you will be using the general spirit signature of the Quimbanda Cross then you just need to use three colors of candles. These colors are Red, Black and White. If you will be using a specific spirit signature than you will have t o decide the appropriate colored candle which will be set directly on top of the spirit signature after you have prepared and dressed the candle. 3. Draw or car ve the spirit signature of the particular Exu or pomba Gira that you will be sum moning and invoking during the ritual directly on the outside of the candle. If you will be using a traditional glass encased religious candle then you can draw the spirit signature with a black permanent ink marker. If you will be carving the spirit signature on a pillar or votive candle, you also have the option to c arve your desires of what you want to be the result of the ritual directly on th e candle around the spirit signature. You can aalso do the same using the perman ent ink marker if you will be using the encased religious glass candle. 4. Dress the candle using the appropriate magical occult oils to enhance the power of th e magical spell or ritual. Candles can be dressed with one or more different typ es of occult oils at the same time and rubbed directly onto the candles to achie ve better spiritual results. 57

5. Light the appropriate magical occult incense during the ritual to better enha nce the magical spell ritual 6. Always use a bell to ring during the magical rit ual when invoking the Quimbanda deities to invite them to the ritual. You can de sign your own prayer for your ritual or you can use the general Quimbanda prayer that I have provided. 7. At the end of every ritual, meditate on your desires f or 20 to 30 minutes that you perform the ritual. 8. Rituals should be done for a series of consecutive days. Normally three consecutive days, seven consecutive days or nine consecutive days, depending on what your desire is and what your sp iritual intent is. 9. You should always take some kind of ritual spiritual bath before beginning every ritual and you should also cleanse yourself off at the la st day of the ritual using African Black Soap or a spiritual bath of your choice . 10. Remember, the magic of Quimbanda is very strong and powerful, but you can be creative with your magical spell ritual without having the fear of any negati ve spiritual consequences. 58

A GENERAL RITUAL USING THE QUIMBANDA CROSS The Quimbanda Cross spirit signature can be used to invoke and summon any of the spirits and deities of the Seven Gre ater Quimbanda Kingdoms and also for the Seven Lesser Quimbanda Kingdoms. Draw t he Quimbanda Cross using white chalk on the hard surface of a cement floor. You can also draw the spirit signature of the Quimbanda Cross with a permanent black ink marker on a white plate. After drawing the Quimbanda Cross spirit signature then you will fasten or place a red candle, black candle and a white candle dir ectly into the center of the Quimbanda Cross and light them in that order to beg in each magical ritual. Remember that the candles should be carved with the part icular spirit signatures on them and then prepared and dressed with your occult oils before lighting them. Don't forget to use the appropriate magical occult ince nse for your desired ritual. 59

THE QUIMBANDA SPIRIT SIGNATURES (PONTOS RISCADOS) In the Quimbanda magico-religi ous tradition, spirit signature sigils (a sacred mystical seal) are symbols conn ected to a set of ideas by which spirits or deities may be summoned to awareness and controlled. The spirit signature sigils connect the spirits to our earthly realm. In the Portuguese language they are called Pontos Riscados. The spirit sign ature sigils when used in the appropriate magical manner open up the doors to wo rld of the supernatural. They are used in divinatory practices. The spirit signa ture sigil itself when drawn out on the ground or drawn on an object will call f orth the spirit. The spirit signature sigil also serves as a physical focus thro ugh which the Quimbanda Priest achieves the desired state of mind. Spirit signat ure sigils represent the secret names of spirits and deities who manifest themse lves differently to each magic practitioner. Once the Quimbanda Priest has summo ned the spirit or deity he may control it, if necessary, by subjecting its sigil to fire or the use of a magical sword or machete. Spirit signature sigils can a lso serve as amulets, talismans, or meditation tools. Quimbanda spirit signature sigils may be of various signs, such as crosses, tridents, stars associated wit h different deities. Quimbanda Priests often times inscribe the spirit signature sigil on ceremonial ritual objects, candles or objects of silver, brass, gold, or glass. Such spirit signatures sigils are considered to be magically powerful.
