Thank you for taking the time to getting to know us better. We are proud to share with you, through the few pages of this brochure, our story and aspirations. The Group is focused on servicing the industrial sectors of this region. We started our path in 1993 in Abu Dhabi in the construction of warehouses. Today, we are a group of companies with widespread presence across the industrial base of the Middle East. Our story is that of a business model based on three pillars. The first is a strong belief in the strength of a decentralized management model with a widespread regional reach. The second is an obsession in providing our clients with the best possible combination of time, cost and quality . And the third pillar, the one without which neither of the first two would exist, is an unwavering conviction in the importance of recruiting, developing and retaining the best human talent . The Amana Group today stands proud with over 12,500 employees in seventeen cities across nine countries. With every sunrise, we service clients across the region in such sectors as oil/gas, petrochemicals heavy industrial, aviation, manufacturing, logistics, district cooling and renewable energy. This is done predominately through the operations of Amana Contracting and Steel Buildings, Amana Pipeline Construction, and Amana Industries. Since inception in 1993, the company has been consistently growing. Part of this growth has been related to the general growth of the economies in which we operate. But the main factor driving our controlled growth has been our unwavering focus on a decentralized business model that combines regional experience with local knowledge to serve the industrial construction market of the Middle East. The key to achieving this competitive advantage lies with our ability to transfer knowledge seamlessly across the clients, industries, and locations . This has been made possible through investments in our in-house enterprise resource planning (ERP) platform, AmanaTech. Coupled with our continuous employee training and development programs, we are confident of our strategy, business model and resulting prospects moving forward. Sustainable Construction
The Amana Group is the leader in the construction of LEED-certified industrial and logistic facilities in the region and is actively involved in green buildings and sustainable construction through various initiatives. The Group is a proud member of the US Green Building Council (USGBC) and boasts one USGBC Faculty Member, 12 LEED AP and 13 LEED GA professionals within its staff. Amana has a comprehensive Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) management system implemented to ensure the well-being of all employees. The management is committed to the successful execution of all projects and the establishment of an accident-free safety record. The HSE system is specific to the requirements of each project. Amana identifies all HSE aspects including potential hazards for each project. The HSE plan is then developed, implemented, and, maintained throughout the project life span and ensures that all personnel, including subcontractors are aware of, and are committed to the system.

OHSAS 18001 Certified The plan also identifies and establishes resources essential to the implementation
and control of the HSE system. The plan analyzes on-site accident prevention and considers comprehensive safety requirements for employees, equipment, transportation, demolition, excavation, scaffolding, site layout, storage areas, and, welfare facilities. The plan also outlines required standards of housekeeping and the disposal of waste materials. Each HSE plan instructs and guides all employees to the safety aspects of their occupation. The plan incorporates responsibilities for management, personnel, project managers, site engineers, safety officers and workers.

Amana Group takes a three-phase approach to quality assurance and quality control to eliminate opportunities for error, thus reducing or eliminating defects and their associated costs.

Phase One Preparatory Inspection

Performed before mobilizing to a construction site, the preparatory inspection establishes the controls that would be required during actual construction, verifies all equipment and materials have been reviewed and approved for use, and ensures all staff on site understand the work required.

Phase Two Initial Inspection

The initial inspection is a major checkpoint to ensure that everything is ready before actually proceeding. At this phase, all parties must guarantee that controls established during preparatory inspections are adequate and workmanship is as expected. Any corrective action, changes in methods, re-emphasis on quality, or recommendations to improve the work done must be discussed at this stage before work can begin. A project cannot proceed unless this phase is completed.

Phase Three Follow-Up Inspections

Amana Pipeline Construction specializes in the Design, Engineering, Procurement, Construction & Commissioning (EPCC) of Commercial & Military Aviation Fuel Systems (Staging Facilities, Fuel Farms and Tankage for Refined Product Storage) in addition to Jet A1 Fuel Hydrant and Refueling Systems. Associated works also include dedicated tie ins and hot tapping works to link existing fuel hydrant refueling systems to newly constructed refueling amenities involving highly specialized skills and procedures in operational airports.
