"The object of teaching a child is to enable him to get along without his teacher. Elbert ubbard
!y interest in teaching grew during a "ery young age. I found it inspiring and interesting the way teachers wor#ed hard for another person$s success. %t a young age& school had become a second home from me& for it was the place that offered me friends and acti"ities that helped me incorporate entertainment in my life. The fun and lo"ing atmosphere that I e'perienced pea#ed my interest in offering a second home to other students. %s a student teacher& I recei"ed a great amount of lo"e from the students. The students helped me feel welcomed and accepted. The atmosphere confirmed my career to become an educator. The role of an educator may be challenging& but the offering of smiles& success and warmth ma#es it all worth it. (y seeing the future generation grow& I begin to feel that the Earth has a bright future ahead of them. %s a teacher& I see a light for the future that I want to help create and allow it to glow in the future. )or#ing in my host class throughout the year& I gained the s#ills to wor# with #ids from all different ethnic bac#ground and educational difficulties. The e'perience as a student teacher& I gain the patience and #nowledge to not only deal with students in a classroom setting& but I also learned how to deal with people in general. E"ery morning I wa#e up and push myself out of bed because I #now that my host teacher and her students are eagerly waiting upon my arri"al. Their faces smiling upon me gi"es me the moti"ation to dri"e to school and "isit my host school. The students in my host classroom always manage to bring a smile to my face& e"en when I feel li#e it will be a bad day. )hen I enter my host classroom& I come with a mindset to teach the students something new. I try to teach the students new ways to remember the lessons they are thought and gi"e them ideas for their projects. I& also& try to let the students #now news of the outside world and try to e'pand their general #nowledge. I want the students from my host classroom to be accomplished and reach success. )hen I become an educator& I would li#e to teach my students to become independent scholars. I will ha"e them thin# and wor# mainly independently and on projects. (y ha"ing them wor# independently& the students will learn to trust themsel"es and their own #nowledge. %lso& by wor#ing on projects the students will learn to e'pand the creati"ity le"el. To teach the students the lesson& I will create a fun lecture that will engage the students to learn the new lesson. )ith the lecture& I will be engaged with the students but I will also accomplish to teach the students the needed material. If a student happens to start failing my class& I will set aside e'tra time for the student and teach the student specifically through their learning style. I will ha"e the student find their comfort le"el in the lesson and slowly build their confidence so they #now they can accomplish anything they set their mind to. (y helping the student gain self confidence& the student then will be moti"ated to continue their journey and #eep going throughout not only that specific lesson but the whole year. I share stories with my family about my e'perience in the host classroom and as# them for ideas. !y life becomes completely in"ol"ed in the classroom that I wor# with. !y family understands the importance my host classroom holds to me and the effort I put into my host classroom. !y host classroom is li#e another family to me

& and I diligently wor# for the welfare of the members of the family& and as in a family& e"eryone accepts e"eryone else and all the family tries to ma#e the each member feel accepted. In classroom that is also what I will achie"e to do. I would li#e to also welcome in helpers that could wor# with students indi"idually li#e my host teacher has done herself. I would also separate students per project into groups that incorporate students that learn at different pace& so that the students can learn with one another and help each other feel welcome. %lso& for the gifted& ES* and special need students& I would find a middle way& li#e stations or centers in which each student can access their learning style. If a child fails to learn a lesson in my class& I would sit down with the student and help the student learn the lesson in another way that they feel comfortable in. I will ne"er gi"e up on my future students& for they are my responsibility. %s a future educator& I would li#e to e'pand my hori+on and to e'pand my hori+on I need to #now what my wea#nesses and strengths are. !y strength includes my attempt to help e"eryone feel welcome and my creati"e scope is wide. I belie"e that I can pro"ide students with the #nowledge of how to interact& for I will ha"e the e'perience of interacting with many different types of people. % wea#ness of mine is that I am person of few words. I do not li#e to communicate a lot and feel ner"ous when I spea# in front of a crowd. To o"ercome the wea#ness& I will ha"e the students do more projects and ha"e the students lead discussions. (y doing this& the student will become independent& their creati"e le"el and self esteem will also rise. E"eryday that I thin# of my future career& I fear that I might not be able to pro"ide my students with the full #nowledge they will need. To o"ercome this fear& I will wor# diligently throughout my years as a student& and when I do become an educator& I will wor# hard to understand the concept I am teaching and be confident in what I teach. I will learn the ins and outs of my lessons so that my fear will ne"er come true. I want to offer the best for my future students and #now that I helped a future Earth be more successful and "ibrant. Teaching is a beautiful art that helps to shape futures. Educators are humans that offer students the opportunity to show their talents and e'plore their hidden ones. Teachers brought out the success of (ill ,ate& -pera )infrey and many more famous people who used education to ma#e them a "ery successful human being. (y seeing the success of these people& my resol"e to become an educator gets stronger. Teachers shape and touch e"ery single person in the world to help the students create a better future. Teachers put in e"erything they ha"e got and help shape e"ery student they teach. Students gain #nowledge from their students& but sometime teachers are underestimated and ta#en too lightly. !y goal is to show society the true importance of a teacher.
