Descriptive of Anxiety Level of Prim Para of Post Parturition Sexual Intercourse

ABSTRACT
Background: This psychological change is much influenced by physical change such as body
overweight change, slightly wider face, the many wrinkles at certain parts of the body which
decrease beauty and self confidence, not to mention the looser muscles of vital organ that
influence pleasure of husband and wife sexual intercourse, and the decreasing passion. In
turn, they will interfere with family harmony. Basically, this anxiety happens because
someone worries of her emotional and personal security. Anxiety is closely related to the
strength and weakness of self confidence and more widely to the characteristics of the person.
Objective: To find out the level of prim Para anxiety of post parturition sexual intercourse at
BPS Sukatmi, District of Kaliwungu, Kudus, 2009.
Method: This research is descriptive to cross sectional plan and total sampling with 60
respondents as the subjects, using questionnaire based on Hamilton Rating Scale for Anxiety
(HRS-A).
Population: The population of this research is 60 post parturition mothers.
Result: The approximate descriptive of level anxiety Prim Para in BPS Sukatmi Kaliwungu
Kudus is middle of anxiety 29 respondent (48,3%), the rate descriptive of sexual intercourse
in post parturition is 47 respondent (78,3%).
Conclusion: The approximate descriptive of level of prim Para anxiety of post parturition
sexual intercourse is middle of anxiety 28 respondent (46,7%).
