d of TAFE through Ready Set Teach. Before, I did not know the concept of what Texas Association of Future Educators actually did, but with my first year in Ready Set Teach, my journey in TAFE also began. As a member, I was committed to come to meetings and participate in the events TAFE organized. I tried to accomplish every task TAFE asked to be done, and I did it with full commitment. As a meme, my responsibility was to give aid to the association to help the association achieve something excellent this year. The first meeting that I attended for TAFE was an introductory meeting which introduced the members to the officer and the goal of Texas Association of Future Educators. I also went to another meeting in which the association discussed the design of the T AFE T shirt would be. As part of Texas Association of Future Educators, we visited the Mesquite Convention Center. At the convention, I helped out by sitting with judges and judging the billboards other students brought in. After the judging, I participated in different group activities. The activity I enjoyed the most was the puppet making activity. The field trip provided students with the opportunity of learning new ideas that can be incorporated into future classrooms. The field trip helped students expand their creativity scope and introduced them to lessons that their respective grades would learn. TAFE offered me a time for entertainment, but it also helped me expand my reason to become an educator and gave me ideas that will be useful in my future classrooms. As I came into MacArthur High School, I did not now what MacArthur can offer me for my future career, but from speaking and advertisements, I learned of Ready Set Teach. Through Ready Set Teach, I was offered a club that introduced me to different students who had the same interest as me. TAFE at MacArthur offered a club that helped students assimilate into a group that gave them an opportunity to expand their interests. With teachers that spoke to us, I felt inspired to pursue the career that I had visualized for myself since my childhood. The teachers shared the joy they experience while teaching and it showed me that my career was a noble future career that I should pursue and do not deter from. Texas Association of Future Educators helps expand the opportunities that MacArthur has to offer for its students. TAFE offered many things for its members, but there were some stuff that I like to change about Texas Association of Future Educators. I would like to expand the amount of activities the members participated in. The members did not have many opportunities to participate in TAFE and I would like the future officers to work on involving the students more. This is the only change I would like to see in TAFE. In TAFE, I have learned many different aspects of what it takes to be an educator. To be an educator one needs perseverance and creativity. Creativity keeps the students engaged in the lesson and helps them expand their knowledge in an entertaining way. I hope to emulate all the knowledge I have gained in my future classrooms.
