Staff Mentor Maplewood Database I supported administration in working through some bugs in the database as we got ready to use it for the first time, and I supported staff who needed help figuring out how to use the database for report cards. I coordinated such things as access to certifications like WHMIS, Occupational Health and Safety, Food Safety, First Aid. I also supported these youth with resume writing, job searching, interview skills, etc. January 2011 to March 2011 Co-facilitator - Art Based Literacy Program for Parent/child pairs Community Learning Association North of Smokey Ingonish Beach, Nova Scotia I co-developed and delivered an art-based literacy program to students and parents. It promoted descriptive writing. Its purpose was for parents to better be able to support their child with writing activities at home. September 2010 to December 2010 C o-facilitator - Math Help For Parents Community Learning Association North of Smokey Ingonish Beach, Nova Scotia I co-developed and delivered a Math Help For parents program that was grounded in supporting parents who were struggling to help their children with new-age math.
