The goal of this class is to give you the knowledge and practical experience of being a Web designer. It will give you an allaround ability to understand web development as it applies to personal and professional use. Printing: Printers must be used for school assignments only. Should you need to print something else, ask the instructor rst. Printouts to the color printer MUST be approved rst; only nal copies should be sent to the color printer! Missed Class: You are responsible for obtaining material after an absense by contacting a student or picking up work from the make-up work folder. Missed work must be made up outside of normal class time, before or after school by appointment. Page 1

Academic Dishonesty: Plagiarism and cheating are serious offenses and will be punished based on the student handbook policy, which includes a zero on the assignment and detention. Need for Assistance: If you have any condition, such as a physical or learning disability or visual impairment that may require academic accommodations, please notify me as soon as possible.

Any uncoordinated, unexcused missed exam will result in a score of 0 for that exam. Assignments: All assignments are due at the end of class on the date due. Late work may be accepted the same week only for reduced credit. Electronic Devices: Use and possession of personal electronic devices (including cell phones and MP3 Players) is prohibited. You may bring in your own digital cameras to use in class, but camera phones are not allowed.

N o t e A b o u t L a p t o p s Please come to class everyday with your battery charged. There are limited locations to charge your laptop in class. Remember that the laptop is to be used for educational purposes only. No Games or game lm will be allowed during class time unless permission is given. Educational purposes only!!!
