( will also tal% about the benefits of hard wor% in s#hool and how they #an benefit a student later on in life. (II. %te!s/Learnin- #ctivities/Differentiated Instruction: 1. #ssess0ent of %tudent Learnin;n Aril 4th, 2014 ( ga$e an introdu#tory lesson about myself and my time on a#ti$e duty with the +.). military. 0or this lesson plan to be effe#ti$e, ( used a PowerPoint about myself and the military. ( also brought in military uniforms, to ma%e the lesson more affe#ti$e. /his introdu#tion lesson plan was re#ei$ed &uite well by 1s.-hite.s #lass. <uring this lesson ( tied in the benefits of how hard wor% in s#hool now will pay off later on in life. ( tied in aspe#ts of #ourage, integrity, and #ommitment throughout the #lass dis#ussion. /he students had a lot of &uestions for me about the military and my tra$els. ( found this lesson to be &uite benefi#ial to the students. /he photos in my PowerPoint presentation really registered with the students, and ( #ould tell they made a real #onne#tion with me and the lesson by their &uestions and enthusiasm they displayed during the lesson.
